The Nets vs Celtics game was absolutely sensational! Jayson Tatum hits a game winner as time expires giving the Celtics a 1-0 series lead. Oddly enough the player of the game was Kyrie Irving who dropped 39 points in a loss!
Anthony Edwards may be in only his second year but he played like a veteran who could not be stopped! The Timberwolves stole game 1 from the Memphis Grizzlies behind AE’s 36 point performance. Should the Grizzlies be concerned moving forward?
Now another series started over the weekend and that was the Nuggets vs the Warriors! Steph came off the bench for only the 3rd time in his career but this mention is not about him. Jordan Poole goes off for 30 points in his first career playoff game. Carrying the Warriors to a dominant victory in game 1.
In Miami someone wasn’t feeling the warm Florida weather. Trae Young had a very forgettable game, only scoring 8 points! He went 1-12 from the field and 0-7 from deep. The Heat smothered Trae all game making life very difficult, can they keep it up?
Lastly in NFL Free Agency news, the Colts sign all pro corner Stephon Gilmore to a two year deal. What does this mean for an already stacked defense? Can they carry a weak offense all season? Is he the missing link?
